Use this guide when you want to stream from Meta smart glasses directly to Twitch without OBS.

Before you start

Prepare your Twitch account, phone, and glasses before copying streaming credentials.

  • You are logged in to your Twitch account in a browser.
  • You can access Twitch Creator Dashboard and the Stream settings page.
  • Ray-Ban Meta glasses are connected to your phone.
  • MetaLensAI is installed and ready to stream.
  • Your phone has a stable Wi-Fi or mobile data connection with enough upload bandwidth.

1. Open Twitch Creator Dashboard

Log in to Twitch and open your Creator Dashboard. Twitch keeps channel streaming credentials in the Stream section of dashboard settings.

  1. Open twitch.tv and sign in.
  2. Open Creator Dashboard from your profile menu.
  3. In the left menu, open Settings, then select Stream.
  4. You can also open dashboard.twitch.tv/settings/stream after signing in.

If you are doing this from a phone browser and the dashboard layout is limited, request the desktop version of the Twitch website.

2. Copy your Twitch Primary Stream Key

In Twitch Stream settings, find Stream Key & Preferences. Copy the Primary Stream Key for your channel. MetaLensAI uses this key to publish the Ray-Ban Meta glasses feed to the correct Twitch account.

  • Use the Copy action if Twitch shows it next to the Primary Stream Key.
  • If Twitch asks you to reveal or confirm access to the key, accept only when you are in a private place.
  • Do not paste your Twitch profile URL, channel name, or username into the stream key field.

Keep your Twitch stream key private. Anyone with this key may be able to stream to your Twitch channel. If it was exposed, reset it in Twitch and update MetaLensAI with the new key.

3. Configure Twitch in MetaLensAI

  1. Open MetaLensAI on your phone.
  2. Go to the Settings tab.
  3. In the Streaming platform section, open the platform dropdown.
  4. Select Twitch.
  5. Paste the Primary Stream Key copied from Twitch.
  6. Save the configuration.

Do not add extra spaces before or after the Twitch stream key. A single wrong character can prevent Twitch from accepting the stream.

4. Start streaming to Twitch

  1. Return to the MetaLensAI Home screen.
  2. Start the live stream from MetaLensAI.
  3. Open Twitch Stream Manager and confirm that Twitch receives the stream preview.
  4. Set or confirm your Twitch stream title, category, tags, and chat moderation before going public.
  5. Use Twitch Inspector if you need to check stream stability or diagnose connection problems.

Troubleshooting Twitch streaming

  • If Twitch does not receive the stream, copy the Primary Stream Key again from Twitch Creator Dashboard.
  • If you reset the Twitch stream key, update the saved value in MetaLensAI before starting another stream.
  • If you recently changed your Twitch password or security settings, copy the current stream key again.
  • Check that Ray-Ban Meta glasses are connected to the phone before going live.
  • Use a stable network connection. Twitch live streaming is sensitive to upload speed and packet loss.
  • If the stream starts and then drops, keep your phone close to the glasses. MetaLensAI receives data from the glasses over Bluetooth, so distance can interrupt the stream.
