Privacy Policy for MetaLensAI

Summary

MetaLensAI is a mobile application for Meta smart glasses. We only collect data needed to provide the service, improve performance, and keep the app secure.

Information we collect

• Contact information you provide (such as email) when you reach out or join early access.
• App usage data (which features are used and how often, without any content such as audio, video, or messages; error logs; and performance metrics).
• Device information (device model, operating system, and app version).
• Feedback or messages you submit to us.

How we use information

• Provide and operate the MetaLensAI service.
• Enable streaming or sharing to third-party platforms you connect.
• Troubleshoot issues and improve reliability and quality.
• Communicate with you about updates, support, and early access.
• Protect against abuse, fraud, and security risks.

AI processing and AI providers

• Audio, text, and video data are used only for AI processing using your own supported AI provider account and API key, such as OpenAI, Google AI / Gemini, or xAI / Grok.
• No user data is uploaded to any third party for AI processing except the AI provider you explicitly configure in the app.
• Your AI API key is stored locally on your phone, is never logged, and is shared only with the selected AI provider to enable AI processing.

Streaming to third-party platforms

When you stream to a selected platform (such as YouTube or Twitch), the app must transmit your stream key to that platform to authenticate and deliver your live stream. The stream key is used only to enable the stream you requested. Your stream key is stored only on your phone, and shared solely with the streaming platform.

Sharing and disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:

• Service providers that help us operate the app (hosting, analytics, customer support).
• Third-party platforms you choose to connect (such as streaming services).
• Authorities if required by law or to protect safety and security.
• Successors in the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset transfer.

Security

API communications use HTTPS encryption.

Retention

We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes described above, or as required by law. You can request deletion of your data by contacting us.

Your choices

• You can opt out of non-essential communications at any time.
• You may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data.
• Disconnect third-party services at any time in the app or their settings.

Children’s privacy

MetaLensAI is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
